Girlfluence

If you don’t have a seat at the table then you are on the menu. This is how women currently feel about their place in politics. Women makeup 50 percent of the population but are severely underrepresented in places of leadership. Women currently hold 24% of the seats in Congress, 27% of state legislators are women, and 18% of governors are women as well (Dec 2019.) The objective of girlfluence is to change that by creating awareness on social media and during camps throughout the nation of how underrepresented women are in politics, and to inspire girls to gain leadership and promote roles within the political sector.
